Winthrop is located on Highway 20 (North Cascades Highway) in north-central Washington. The North Cascades Highway is a very popular way to arrive and depart Winthrop when coming from the West and heading back to the West. No matter which direction you are coming from, the year-round scenic views are sure to amaze.

  2. Hwy 20 East North Cascade Scenic Highway to Winthrop

Route 2

  1. I-90 East to CleElum
  2. Hwy 970 East to Hwy 97 North
  3. Hwy 2 East (& 97 North) to Wenatchee
  4. Continue on Hwy 97 North to Pateros
  5. Hwy 153 North to Twisp
  6. Hwy 20 West to Winthrop

Route 3

  1. I-5 North to Everett
  2. Hwy 2 East to Wenatchee
  3. Hwy 97 North to Pateros
  4. Hwy 153 North to Twisp
  5. Hwy 20 West to Winthrop
